Mission Statement

"The mission of IOBG District 8 is to recognize past commodores of the international yachting community and unite them in order to promote the highest ideals of yachting and traditions through social, educational and humanitarian programs."

Organization

Created in 1970, Florida District 8 is made up of 40 yachting chapters in the entire state of Florida and Mobile Bay, Alabama. It consist of 502 past commodores, and is the largest district in the International Order of the Blue Gavel.
